I’ve never been a smoker.

I want to say that clearly. This work didn’t come from theory. It came from watching people I love struggle, year after year.

 

I grew up around smoking. Family. Friends. Good people caught in the same quiet loop. The comfort. The guilt. The promises to quit soon, after this pack, after this week, after things calm down. I saw how it weighed on them. Not just physically, but mentally. The constant bargaining. The shame that crept in. The self-blame. The question they rarely said out loud. Why can’t I just stop?

 

My turning point came when I experienced hypnotherapy for myself. I wasn’t trying to fix anything dramatic. I just wanted to understand what was going on underneath. That’s when I realised something simple but important. Change doesn’t come from fighting harder. It comes from working with the part of the mind that’s already running the pattern.

 

That’s when this became personal.

Because if you’re stuck right now and tired of the cycle, I recognise that place. And I know it’s not a lack of strength.

I’d already been working through my own personal blocks — from weight issues to self-worth — with the help of a clinical hypnotherapist. So when the first COVID lockdown hit, I made a decision: I enrolled in two diplomas, one in Clinical Hypnotherapy and the other in Life Coaching.

Now, I won’t lie — I’ve only got a year 9 education. But this work? It lit a fire in me. I studied like I’d never studied before. And that decision changed my life.

Fast forward a few years, and I’ve coached people through real transformation — not just temporary motivation, but lasting shifts. I specialize in working with athletes and peak performers who feel like they’re doing everything right — the training, nutrition, supplements, recovery — but still aren’t getting the results they want.
